Wow...3 putt from 12 feet. Can't believe it, Dustin!! That's going to hurt for a long while for Dustin.

DJ needs to fire his caddie in the parking lot.

That 3 putt by Jordan on 17 almost came back to bite him.

Watching DJ putt yesterday, it's a problem for him. He had a lot of opportunities to make some putts that he just didn't make. While he was lining up that 1st putt on 18, I was wondering if he was over thinking it he took so long...well long for anybody other than Jim Furyk.

The ironic part of the DJ saga was it took two great shots to set up the final disappointment. When you get home on a 600 yd. hole with a 5 iron you are one hard hitting SOB.
This is the third time in a major where he had a good shot at winning and found a way to piss it away. You'd worry about him becoming a head case if you believed he had anything in his head.

Yeah, I've never three putted from 12 feet at an important time. I've never missread a green.

Bad thing and it will mess with his head. But the "choking" thing, though perhaps an apt term, is overdone. We see these putts missed over and over again. During the middle of the tournament and also at clutch moments. They are the most *%&** agonizing part of golf...for most, if not all of us...both for pros and hackers.

Yeah I agree the whole choke thing is overdone, guys miss putts all the time..Jordan missed a short putt to put him into double bogey on #17. Did he choke? Nobody is saying that, but in the end if Dustin makes his eagle putt that would have been the putt that costs Jordan the tourney.

As far as missing putts...yesterday I was having a great back nine, 2 birdies and 1 bogey, all I needed was a par on #18 and I'd have broken par(for the 9 not 18 shot 78). I of course missed about a 3 footer for par. Choker!! :( I'd have fired my caddie if I had one! :)

Terry, my sympathy........but congratulations on the round. Anything less than 80 (I assume that it was a 78 based on the emoticon after the 7) is a great round in my book.
