I'll be there. Taking my two oldest grandsons to their first ND game.

Every team ran on the Tar heels and their pass defense is one of their better components. Why would ND even think pass ?

Give Brady the day off and let Walker do all the work.

The Irish need style points to get up the rankings. Quinn needs to continue to pile up stats in his Heisman quest.

Give 'em the "A" game Irish!

Charlie thinks like you AJNJ, he said in his press conference that he wants to continue to work on the running game. I expect we'll see pretty much what we saw with Navy, that we will run the ball quite a bit, still throw the ball. I expect that if things go well that we will see James Aldridge in the 1st half getting some variety of running plays, rather than 12 straight runs up the middle he got against Navy.

I expect that Quinn will get over 250yds passing and 2-4 TD's. Funny thing is that is a great game, but nowdays unless you throw for 300+ yds nobody things you are doing much with the passing game.

Walker will get enough carries to get his 100yds as well, I'd guess he'll get 20+ caries and that Aldridge will get 10-15 carries, Prince 5-10 carries.

The biggest difference between the Navy and UNC games will be that UNC does not have a clock eating offense, so the Irish will get more possessions and more plays. Stats will look better as a result.

Don't so sure of that. NC has been running the ball lately and you can't forget about the QB. You remember Daily from his Nebraska days ?

The kid still throws a lot of picks , but he can run as well as any QB.
They have another QB who shares time, but Dailey even though he's erratic can be dangerous.

Got to give kudos to Navy coach Johnson for getting his offense ready so quickly with a 2nd team QB. Rutgers took out their talented starting QB and their offense was nothing but a 3 and out.

UNC's top RB will miss the game, a suspension for violation of team rules I think.

Joe "Pick'em" Dailey??? The old Husker? :) ND DB's should be licking their chops!! ;)

    ND/UNC

<r>It would be easy to predict a comfortabe ND win but......never underestimate teams when they play ND. My guess is that ND will win but UNC will give them all hey can handle. <E>:)</E></r>

We don't have the luxury of "just winning" from here on in.... not if we want to play a good bowl game in January. In addition to beating USC we need to win decisively against the other three.
