I posted this On FaceBook this morning for Jiffer and I am bringing it here in the hopes that once he regains consciousness, he will chcukle along with me.

    Oh, cruel fate....

"This was a Yankee moment. Comes out to pinch hit in the 9th at Fenway to an avalanche of boos and catcalls and crushes one over the Green Monster to beat the Red Sox. That ball was outta there in a nano-second. Like someone farted in a crowded church, you could have heard a pin drop. The only sound was the primal scream coming from the direction of Providence, R.I."

Kinda hearkens back to Grantland Rice, huh?

Joel's boys headed the wrong direction! Battling the Blue Jays for last place isn't what Joel wants! :)

I don't know who should replace him...but in my opinion he needs to be gone. I would also kiss Cherington good bye. The pitching staff he built is absolutely terrible. They have a farm that's loaded for the future. Could have used them for pitching!

AJ what's the story on your setup man? First Wainwright and now another pitcher going down. Have you got enough pitching? Some of your current starters have never made it a full season, like Wacha.

Interesting. Terry is asking AJ about HIS team and HIS setup man. Is he jumping ship and returning to the Astros. Does he know that Skybox rules limit team switches to two per season?
