Shockers really made Kansas look bad and got their in state revenge. Maryland really bad some bad luck losing Trimble with the head injury and subsequent loss to West Virginia,

My south bracket is completely red except for Duke and the Zags. Didn't do my homework this year and boy, it shows.

Needn't worry about me, Terry...my bracket is completely busted...went out on a limb and took Virginia the whole way.

I will sink rapidly as the contest proceeds.

Very good win for the Irish! Some great ball handling and a well discplined ball club. Shooting 50% or better did not hurt!

Belay that post lads...Bring on Kentucky!! :)

Only way WVA wins is if somebody locks the door to the Kentucky lockeroom.

    Great performance by Notre Dame.

I bet that W. Virginia player who predicted Kentucky would finish 36-1 regrets his remark now.

That WVa/Kentucky game should have been stopped and Kentucky winning on a TKO. Brutal.

We may not like Kentucky, but I do not see anyone beating them either.

If my math is correct, KY could have gone the entire second half without scoring and still would have won by 5 points.

Are the Green shoes for the NCAA Tournament or regular games?

I'm happy that the Bruins young team redeemed themselves for this year. I'm ecstatic the Irish are in the elite 8 and stand a chance (no matter how small) of pulling off one of the great shockers of all-time.... but can we talk about the warlock that is Tom Izzo? Cheese and rice..

Still an Ohio State affair for the crown! Don in the lead tied with Chris Ryckman and Michael close behind. Stu is slipping a little, while Michael must not have inherited the pick'em gene...or he has a dog and not a cat! :)

Everybody was pretty much destroyed by the East bracket. I think everybody has at least 6 out of the elite 8 with a couple of 7 out of 8.

Louisville and Mich State have Final Four Coaches, who's teams had just ok regular seasons but started getting strong towards the end and finished pretty well. Watching ND beat Louisville at their place late in the season I figured the Cards just didn't have it this year. But PItino said in the post game that they were a good team and that how far they went was more about their matchups, he said ND was a bad matchup for them...turns out he was right.

For the Irish to win tonight it's going to have to be something like the Georgetown/Villanova game back when Patrick Ewing was there, or the North Carolina State/Houston game when the Cougars where Phi Slama Jama with Hakeem and Clyde Drexler and some other really great players.

Could happen! You gotta believe! :)
