I thought it was a good segment. I thought Charlie handled things very well and that 60 minutes just played it straight. Go Irish. Terry
I'm glad...they were promoting it like it was going to be critical of his language on the sideline... I was like "gimme a break...he's a frickin' football coach!"
CW <r>Terry,<br/> <br/> I must admit I really liked the piece. I'm not a big fan of 60 min and was expecting the worst I guess. <E></E></r>
I'm with you Stu I was wondering if Joan of Arc had been miked during her battles with the English if she'd have made it to Sainthood.
I think that they'll drop the other shoe talking about campus rapes. Look for the Elam incident to be a top story.
you mean <t>the case about the alleged incident that took place between the firing of Davie and the hiring of Ty? <br/> <br/> Is that racism by delaying the running of the story? Is the girl being paid to do the story?<br/> <br/> Sorry if I seem a tad cool on the subject. I'm a 'facts' kinda guy and the 'facts' in this case don't warrant this sort of attention. The only guy 'convicted' of anything is Elam and he took a plea deal on what could best be described as 'mediocre' legal advise. The only man charged and brought to trail was acquitted and the DA dropped the charges in the other cases since he lost his 'best' case.<br/> <br/> So we have a news story on CBS involving no convictions, and a series of lives ruined/altered (including the girl's) on a case that dates back to what 01 or 02? Been there. Done this.</t>
No... <t>Respect at all for 60 Minutes the network of the shamed Dan Rather. Never turn the show on but did make a point of catching this segment on Charlie. I enjoyed it greatly. Man he has one nice home on nine acres. The guy is a perfect fit for the university and its football program.</t>
