Ohio State ends up with 27 signed recruits for 2015. We undoubtedly will rank somewhere in the top ten.

Gibson and Weber never wavered on their commitments!

Well there must still be some negotiating on terms, as the #1 player who announced for Auburn, still hasn't sent in his LOI. His dad unbeknownst to him is no doubt trying to get Cam Newton money.

Interesting article that does a statistical analysis on the point Sid raised:

Despite having a couple of star players plucked away by Muschamp and Auburn the Florida Gators have made one hell of a surge today in recruiting.

247 Sports reflects what most rankings show in that they have UF up 46 spots in their rankings up to #20.

Now 5 star Byron Cowart seems to be wavering on Auburn and if he does flip to Florida UF would most likely be in the top 15 or better.

I cannot remember any NSD where the Gators have improved their position this much.

    I'll take it!

I can't remember any NSD where the Gators were that far down to be able to make the big leap.

UF was misfortunate that their ex-headcoach went to a rival SEC school one state over but UF was very fortunate that in a year of coaching change and upheaval their recruiting could be saved by just being in the right location....

Very happy with what the Gators did today. 21 total players and we are ranked in the top 25.

That's not normally what would necessarily be consider great, but considering we had less than 10 less than two weeks ago I will take it.

In the ESPN Rankings...12 of the top 25 are SEC teams. 5 of the top 10. Rich get richer.

Irish are settling in at #13, not too bad for a team that fell apart in the last half of the season. I think if we had finished with a 10-2 or even 9-3 season it'd have been a better class...but that's just an opinion.

Almost exactly the same in the 247 composite rankings.

Longhorns at #11, Irish at #13. Alabama of course is at #1, they are again the consensus #1 class in college recruiting. If Nick doesn't win a NC again soon, they'll have to start calling him Mr. Feb, Mack Brown will gladly allow him to have that honor. :)

Ha ha that's a good one....but he's our asshole. Mack would have done a lot better if McCoy hadn't gotten hurt.

    Nice post Scott.

Maybe in my next life I will be lucky enough to be a good looking young man who attends college at some nice school populated with pretty Southern women. Life is so unjust....

looks like USC finished strong to take the #1 ranking for Rivals. I was reading the butt hurt in the local media forums. I'm so glad this day is gone and we can just go back to the hype....

I was shocked at all the players that UCLA was able to get. They flipped a few and invaded the turf of several other schools. That Mora is a good one.

Apparently Alabama had another good day. I think we only got one offensive tackle and that would seem to be a concern, but I can't remember who we have coming off of redshirts so maybe that is okay. 8)
