Yikes...they are budgeting $889,000,000.00 for the 2016 election. God Bless America.

It's ****, but it is what it is. The only time Democrats bitch about campaign finance reform is when they are the ones getting out spent.

    :!:

Even with the Koch bothers, the GOP hasn't out-spent the Dems in a presidential election in a long time. Furthermore, many of the Dems largest contributions don't show up on campaign finance disclosure forms. Public employee unions use government buildings (like schools) to organize political fund raising activities like phone banks and it's all free. They can also fly to different states and influence campaigns across the country using their mandatory union dues as political fuel...

It's everything that's wrong with politics and shows just how little "We the People" actually have in any say as to our elected reps will be.

The Kochs are the King makers , like Soros, Buffett and most of Hollywood.

From what I've read, Tom Steyer and his PAC money are mostly responsible for the hold up of the Keystone Pipeline. He's also been a prolific backer of certain left proposals in California and was a major backer of Terry McAuliffe in the Va. governor's race.
And then there are the large unions and their caches. Andy Stern head of the SEIU was a visitor to the White House over 50 times during Obama's first 3 years. The big difference between the Kochs and guys like Stern is that they use their own money and Stern takes it from his union members.

I had heard that Buffet's railroads are transporting much of the oil that the Pipeline would transport.

I always wondered how a WASP like Warren Buffet could hitch his wagon to a no-talent bum like Obama.

You mean the Warren Buffett who is all for tax reform because his secretary pays a higher rate than he does? The same Buffett whose Burger King bought Tim Horton's and moved their HQ to Toronto to avoid US Taxes??? He's a tool.

Well one thing for sure, the Koch brothers will be vilified by the liberal media and the guys like Soros, Steyer, and their ilk will barely be mentioned.
