Old school and well-disciplined ball club. Clean program and a great recruiter.Good academics! You can not ask for much more than that in any program.
I'm no math whiz, but I know that if a coach won 20 games a season for 50 years, he would tie Coach K. That puts it in perspective.
Good story one of his starters who is also in ROTC was sworn in to the Army. He's 7ft and had to get a height exemption.
Yeah I spent most of my life (when not deployed) in Virginia and Maryland. ACC basketball was great to watch, week in and week out.
Kp I was never on a ship in my Navy days, they gave us a tour of a sub tender one time but that was it. I was in Williamsburg one time though and we went up to Norfolk and went on the Wisconsin. I was struck by how far you were from the water when you were on deck and how little was between you and the water. Man overboard seems like it might happen, I can't imagine being on the deck of the Wisconsin during heavy seas.
Terry, I was on three different aircraft carriers which are considerably larger than the Wisconsin and the flight deck was about 65 feet above the water line. We usually had 3 or 4 real man overboards during a 7 month cruise of which most were never found.
