Man it pains me to say this but that Navy option is a thing of beauty to watch their execution. Thank goodness our offense isn't bad either! :)

    Terry..

<t>Send an SOS to see if our defense is still in South Bend. This is pitiful to watch. I've seen ND teams in the past play like they have never seen a triple option but this one may be the worst. Lets hope Brady and company stay hot as that is the only way we win this one.</t>

The Navy option only worked until the defense made a halftime adjustment, then the D pitched a shutout the rest of the way...

Brady had a great day. Always like for the home town boys to look good.

Yes they did finally get that thing stopped at halftime. I think there is a pattern starting to show up for the Irish defense. We definitely play better in the 2nd half than we do in the first half. UCLA got zilch against us in the 2nd half as did Navy. In fact most of the points scored on us in the 2nd half have been garbage time points.

I don't know if we'll move up in the polls today or not, it didn't help that Wazzu clocked UCLA yesterday. That great defense that they brought to South Bend was left home apparently.

    Kudos..

<t>To the coaches for waking up the defense at halftime. Brady and the O were outstanding.</t>
