Congrats to the Buckeyes, clearly the best team won and it wasn't even close, could have been much worse if they hadn't turned it over so much.

Physically beat Alabama and physically beat the Ducks tonight....no doubt they are a deserving Nat'l Champion.

I agree. Ohio State defense did an excellent job. OSU just wore down Oregon over the course of the game. Congratulations to the Buckeyes. 8)

Great win for Ohio State and Urban Meyer! I can not believe we held Oregon to 20 points.

The bookies probably made some serious money tonight?

Bobda, I quit smoking a long time ago.

Time to say goodnight and I will be back early in the morning.

How much of a myth was Oregon? A 6 pt. favorite, wins the turnover battle 4-0 and loses by 22? What a joke :!:

Oregon just can't handle a power team it's why Stanford was such a tough team for them. I thought maybe they would be different tonight, and that Kiffin's play calling was what allowed Ohio State to beat Alabama...but it wasn't Jones and Elliot and that Buckeye defense were just too much for the Oregon offense, no amount of tempo or finesse made any difference after that 1st TD drive.

You mean like the power team Michigan State that they handled so easily? Let's not lose the facts now.

Congrats to the Buckeyes, what an incredible performance. This is why we have always needed to play the games and the Buckeyes just dominated today. Hats off boys, you've got a lot to be proud of and much to look forward to with this program.

I know Elliott was the offensive MVP, but man, how many times did that QB manage to just muscle his way to a much needed first down on 3rd and 4th down when it seemed like he was stopped? I agree Elliott is the MVP, but I can't imagine this offense being the same without him. As my buddy said, he's part moose.

Congratz to the Buckeyes! They beat Alabama and Oregon back-to-back and left no doubt. After all those years of expecting to win it without results; it's amazing that they won the thing this year. Even the Buckeye fans never expected this as late as mid-year. WOW! Congratz again!

Fabulous job by the Bucks who just beat the living hell out of Oregon up front all night. The sight of Oregon linemen struggling to hobble off the field in the second half will not soon be forgotten.

By the way, the Buckeyes have the best coach in college football.

After about four hours sleep, I am still endeavoring to absorb what took place last night in Dallas. Buckeyes are now 9-0 against Oregon and I am confident that is a bitter pill to swallow for the players and fans.

I do feel for Marcus Mariota though, especially if he does choose to turn pro. The Heisman Curse seems to be in full force. Same thing happened to Troy Smith when Florida whipped out butts after he won the Heisman Trophy.

Youtube has the full game on site already this morning.

Thank God Urban decided to come to Columbus!

The OSU offensive line was dominant as well as the the running game. Jones has one of the strongest arms I think I have seen in a long time. In the second half the OSU defense started to dominate. It would have really ugly if Ohio State had not had all of those turnovers. Congratulations to the Buckeye fans. Y'all get to put the smilie face in you signatures all year. :)

Congrats to the Buckeyes...... I never doubted ya.... in this playoff season.

What a fun team to watch I have to admit.

Cardale Jones is such an athlete.... a beast with a cannon arm... love that kid. How can he not play play next season?

Zeke Elliot is the most exciting runner in college football. I have never seen a college back hit the hole like he does.

And Meyer has his stamp all over this playoff champion. That guy can whip up a plan and motivate a team to win a championship like maybe only one other....

Pretty much after the first drive by Oregon there was not much doubt who was the better team.

I am so impressed by the Ohio State team overall. But that offensive line, the QB Jones and that running back Elliott were unbelievable.

I thin Meyer has built a monster.

On the lighter side I tried to get this as a image but couldn't do it, the people carrying the O - H - I - O flags to leave the field carried them out of order misspelling Ohio. O - O - H - I

    Buckeyes Misspell Ohio

This is funny...but it was the last thing the Buckeyes did wrong.

I'd like to suggest we get a Hot Tub Time Machine and take the 2014 Buckeyes back to play the 2012 Tide...that'd be a game!

You are right about it being the last thing Ohio State did wrong Terry.

That was a dominant performance and without the 4 turnovers it could have been worse.

Ohio State is in great shape right now.

Corey I watched that Oregon-MSU game. The Spartans led late in the third quarter. It wasn't that easy for the Ducks. The temp was in the 90's and I think that the up tempo and heat did MSU in late in the game.
"Easily" is what OSU did to the Spartans in E. Lansing.
