    Tennessee is a 5 point favorite in this SEC road game. Tennessee has the weapons to be considered a 25 point favorite. Spurrier has the know how to turn Tennessee into a 7 point underdog.

    I feel that we will win, but I see another last second victory.

    Fulmers not thinking about paying back Spurrier, nope not at all, never crosses his mind, has not thought about Steve Spurrier in years, doesn't even know what he's doing these days. In fact can't even remember what he looks like. Nope Spurrier is the furtherest thing from Fulmers mind...well not further than a warm jelly donut, but really far!! :)

    this game

    <t>reminds me of a lot of those old UF-UT games.<br/>
    <br/>
    Tennessee is winning early, but they are only winning because SCAR is shooting themselves in the foot. One of two things will happen. Either SCAR will keep shooting themselves, and UT will win, or SCAR's going to keep rolling and win this late. <br/>
    <br/>
    UT's made lots of good 2nd half adjustments this year. I'll be interested to see what happens after the intermission.</t>

    I'm going to question SOS here

    <t>Tennessee hasn't stopped you all night. You get the ball back with more than a minute left in the half, and you choose to run out the clock..???<br/>
    <br/>
    Hmmm</t>

    After the end of the Texas game I flipped to Tenn/So Car. The first scene was of fans streaming down the ramps and I heard Rocky Top in the background....then I see there's almost 8 minutes to play. Fans would never leave a game like that in Notre Dame Stadium. Carolina as team certainly hadn't quit at that point.

    Funniest almost play of the year, #8 going up to the LOS after the timeout where he's gotten the instructions to hand the ball off and run the clock, he looks at So.Car and can't resist the urge to change the play...the coaches on the Tenn sideline go nuts and call time out before he does something stupid.

    Boy there sure were a lot of almost upsets today, with Texas,Fla, Auburn and Tenn all just pulling out victories against inferior opponents. If they'd have lost it would have been Upset Sat since USC and Neb had already lost.

    Congrats to the Vols!!

    South Carolina is a much better team since changing QB's, I am not looking forward to playing them.

    Nice win for the Vols.

    Of course we knew last nught who won. However, we have only seen the first quarter so far. We're now watching it. Between the fire department and weddings, we have had to depend on Tivo a lot this year.

    I'll comment more after the Tivo'ed game is over. :wink:

    Funny thing is that Tenn should they win out could end up the highest ranked SEC team in the BCS standings and not have to play in the SEC championship game.

    Nothing stood out to me that would make this a "classic game" but ESPN is showing this game as the ESPN Classic of the week. It is in the 4th quarter with 5 minutes left as I type.

    As for the game, the officiating did have some issues but it all pretty much evened out. Tennessee was called twice for pass interference when it was obvious that it wasn't, ven to the announcers. We were also NOT called for it when twice we were guilty as sin.
