I wonder if Corey will be listening to Paul Feinbaum today.

    :?:

The thing that surprised me the most in these bowl games was the complete shredding of SEC West defenses: LSU, Ole Miss, Miss State, Alabama, Auburn...

Yes, they played good teams, but I suspected they were a tad overrated when Notre Dame tacked nearly 500 yards on LSU, with a new QB and a true freshman making his first start on the OL...

    Terry,

You can too. It's on in 7 minutes. SEC Network if you have TV, I'm pretty sure it's ESPN radio if you're spinning the dial.

Baylor's field goal kicker is a funny and classy kid. A twitter exchange between the the kicker and the MSU player who blindsided him:

    Finebaum update:

1st caller, Jim from Tuscaloosa 'People take football too seriously'
2nd caller, "I think it's fair to say that Urban has himself an SEC team.'

Finebaum with his dagger a second ago 'What was Alabama's best win? Arkansas!?'

BTW, way to tank a 29 point lead Pitt...

Phyllis from Mulga is on, time for the popcorn.

OK... that has to be the DUMBEST play of all time.

Iowa kid fields the kickoff at the 2 going out of bounds... so he tosses it BACK on the field... to a TENN player!

Luckily for him... he stepped out before letting it go.

The bowl game for Tennessee was exactly what team 118 needed. We got a few key players back from injuries and the team was in sync all game. Jones has sparked life in both recruiting and in the play on the field. There is joy in Volville tonight.

Congrats Tom. Vols ripped apart Iowa today. The talent differential between the two schools in both players and coaching was enormous.

Hahaha according to SOS, isn't that how he prepares these days? ;)

Seriously, the Vols looked very athletic and fast. Good times ahead.

The Vols did look good, didn't they? Next year in the SEC will be very interesting...

I was surprised to hear the announcers say toward the end of the game that Iowa was heavy on Seniors graduating I think 16 seniors. We were just the opposite... almost no seniors on the field. The future looks bright for this young team. Team 119 will be interesting!

    Tom,

I think we just saw the end of the Kirk Ferentz era at Iowa.
