Wow, Va.Tech just put a beatin' on those guys. They looked horrible, that Clemson QB had a horrible game, those 2 Heisman Trophy RB looked terrible. So much for the speculation that Clemson is/was the best 1 loss team out there. Say good bye to the top 10.

This is good for Notre Dame. :)

That's because the WS needs a villain. Whether it be the Yankees, Boston, Atlanta or the Mets.

The weather has also been a big factor as there is no momentum being generated that holds fan interest. The week off seems to have put the Tigers to sleep.

Hey, these are the two teams that navigated the rough waters to get here so they belong. They just don't hold the national appeal. I heard yesterday that thhis is the first WS in history that features two teams with a losing record since the All Star break.

Prior to the game, Herbstreit was asked who he thought that the best 1 loss team was. His answer based on last week's game was Clemson.
Over and over the talking heads think that playing back to back games is no big deal. It's difficult, ask Fla. Playing road night games is difficult, just ask Ga. Tech.

Actually, the baseball is pretty exiting in this series (I was gonna say the baseball was good, but lots of errors last night). It's really a shame and (I think) kind of bad for baseball that everybody's dissing the series 'cause the freakin' Yankees, Red Sox, Dodgers, and Mets aren't in it.

And you know who you are, you guilty partys.

I watched the World Series and was somewhat shocked by the Clemson loss.

However it's pretty typical of Clemson to lose games they shouldn't.

You can pretty much count the ACC out of the BCS Championship hunt.

    As it should be.
