Marcus Mariota, Amari Cooper and Melvin Gordon Heisman Finalist. Mariota is going to win with a near record margin.

I'm just glad Winston isn't going to NY. Speaking of Heisman finalists, Manti Te'o got his first career interception last night. He looked good at LB covering receivers.

Terry, I think Michigan's bowl game this year will be televised on ESPN Classic.

While we're here in Bowl Season.... Forbes has released it's "Most Valuable Teams of 2014" Now they are talking $$$ not results on the field as you can see by the #1 Team being the 6-6 Texas Longhorns and the #2 Team being the 7-5 Notre Dame Fighting Irish, followed by the #3 Michigan Wolverines. It's not till #4 do we get to a Team that has actually done anything on the field the Crimson Tide.

    1. Texas - 131M
    2. ND - 122M
    3. UM - 117M
    4. Alabama - 107M
    5. LSU - 103M
    6. Auburn -97M
    7. Tenn - 94M
    8. Oklahoma - 93M
    9. Ohio State - 87M
    10. Georgia - 83M

Truthfully that list makes no sense to me, how is there not a single Pac12 team in the top10? How is that Ohio State is behind Michigan after all their success, and it's a tribute to the ND national fan base that we haven't deserted our team over the last 20 years.

Well the game didn't turn out for AJ, but the USC/Neb Holiday Bowl was the best game I've seen in bowl season so far. Those Holiday Bowls always seem to turn out great, many times being big offensive explosions.

Excellent game AJ, and you almost pulled it off for the B1G TEN. Too bad you could not have been just a bit closer to try that field goal late in the game.

    :!:

A fine game for Nebraska, considering everything...

USC worries the hell out of me. They just beat Nebraska with only 51 scholarship players and most of them are freshmen and sophomores. Can you believe Adoree Jackson? As a true frosh he's playing both ways as well as returning punts and kickoffs! We all need to get our act together quickly or the Troglodytes may bury all of us starting next year...

Jim's right USC is on the cusp of returning to the dominance of the Pete Carroll days. They will have a huge haul of highly rated recruits coming in this year. They are poised to finish very strong. Whether or not Sark is as good a coach as Pete we don't know yet but he will have a ton of talent, only Alabama will have as much after another recruiting cycle.

I f*cking hate USC, so I have to qualify that up front before I continue on to give on honest opinion.

Everyone should be worried. While the world was making excuses for everyone else under the sun on probation, the NCAA continued to stick it to USC (much to my delight). At the same time, while sending the message that institutional protection for a pedo is not as bad as having players deal with agents, the NCAA also managed to battle harden this group of young Trojans. They're already talented, but now they can start getting deep again. In the big picture of things, this is bad for everyone with a soul.

With the media waxing poetic about the 'culture' at Penn State and blessing the virtuous honor of men like O'Brien, USC was burning coaches at the stake for not winning enough despite sanctions steep enough to make even Alabama fans cringe. Nope... those assholes came out on the other side and even have a coach the media seems to love, despite the fact he may well have been the biggest asshole on a staff that once held Pete Carroll, Ed Orgeron, Lane Kiffin and Norm Chow.

At UCLA, Mora is asshole enough to handle this. I'm not too sure about the Irish.

Don are there rumors that Braxton Miller will be transfering? I've seen some but they are not from Ohio State guys.

    Terry,

I do not think Braxton is going to transfer. His father says he wants to finish his career at Ohio State. He has already graduated with his degree a couple weeks ago.

The real question here is if his shoulder has really healed and he can put some mustard on the ball? If not J.T. will step into the role of QB.

I read an interesting note this morning that if we should somehow win the playoffs with Cardale at the helm, he will announce for the NFL Draft. I really do not believe that, but it would be an interesting thought.

Aggies lead WVU 28-27 after a sloppy penalty filled first half.

If anyone wants to know why we fired Mark Snyder, watch the secondary.
They lay off 12 yards and still let the #1 WR run right by them.

Thank goodness their QB is not very accurate... we might be in a big hole right now.

Can't say I have a lot of confidence in the Ags finishing this one with a W.

lol too may of my Bama friends gamble. My morning of playing with the baby and fielding text messages that read 'Why the hell didn't I take the over in this game!?' has been entertaining.

I've still got this wicked ringing in my head from a concussion I managed to give myself here like a jackass. They probably think I'm being a jerk replying "I don't know, why didn't you?" but it's really the best I can come up with. Any of you guys with a clear head know why someone wouldn't take the over in this game?

    LOL.

Sorry about the lump Corey, hope it's not a bad one.

The only thing I got is they thought we'd suck with the freshman directing the offense...
We've been running the ball and for the most part NOT getting too cute with sideways plays, so that's kept the offense running.

What's with your guy on the sidelines? He got caught on camera a couple of times shoving WVU players.
