This was posted on the Michigan Week topic by mistake:

Coach Meyer says Cardale Jones is having a great week in practice, for the big game Saturday night, in Indianapolis. Supposedly he has 4.5 speed which is a bit unusual, for a big man of his size.

His high school coach, Ted Ginn Sr., thinks he may be a big surprise for a lot of people. Coach Ginn has a long history with Cardale and his family, and all of the history is very positive.

Latest update on J. T. Barrett is that he also has a cracked bone in his right leg. He will be in a cast for six weeks, a boot for four weeks and then can walk freely. He should be ready for Spring football, but in a limited capacity.

    GO BUCKS!

I see that Wisconsin has opened at a 3-4 point favorite.

Don it will be one of the great stories of Ohio State Football if Cardale comes off the bench and leads the Buckeyes to a resounding victory and the B10 Championship.

Less than 48 hours to go before the Big Game for my Buckeyes. Sounds like the players have really rallied around Jones and that should help his confidence.

While running a few errands yesterday, I listened to an interview with J. T. Barrett (radio). He has a very soft and low voice, sometimes you can hardly hear what he is communicating. I hope it is not like that in the huddle.

Looking ahead to this evening, but worried about Gordon and the Badgers. Gordon is going get some yards, it's a matter of how many. Our run defense has given up more yardage than I like, but tonight it is crucial for the Buckeyes to hold Gordon to less than 150 yards.

Cardale Jones has to be patient and play within his means. Let the team do the work and with a couple breaks on special teams, we might just win this game.

    GO BUCKS!

I think this game rests on the Buckeye defense. They really have to step it up.

Normally I do not post at halftime, but tonight is an exception. Cardale Jones is playing like a seasoned pro, over 200 yds in the air and two TDs.

Ezekiel Elliot has rushed for over 150 yards. Defense has one interception and one fumble for a TD.

Our defense is playing lights out against the Badgers. 38-0 at the half. Gordon is being held in check!

    GO BUCKS!

I know I'm an old crank, but the old Rose Bowl set up would have matched Oregon and Ohio State... I prefer that to any playoff system.

Jim, I think that would be a great matchup this year, not so much in some other years.

Don't see a team beat the spread by 62 very often.

WOW and I was hoping this would be a close game and give us a chance to win in the 4th Quarter.

Great performance by both the offense and defense. Winning the game was #1 goal, but I never even considered holding Wisconsin scoreless, with one of the top back in the country.

Now we will see how the Playoff Committee reacts to the games this evening?

Awesome peformance by the Buckeyes, Don. It looks the OSU's third string QB is also the third best QB in the Big Ten.

Unbelievable performance. Completely took everything away from Wisconsin while playing flawlessly themselves.

Meyer's greatest win in my view. 3rd string QB. Death hanging over the team. 4 point underdog. My god!

I do not know how they could possibly not be chosen for the playoffs coming off that performance.

I didn't watch but reading about it was enough...Buckeyes just came out motivated and ready to play and kicked some butt.

Not much else OSU could do to get the committees attention. As I said elsewhere I still favor TCU or Baylor over Ohio State. But the Buckeyes certainly made their case.
