Here comes the Auburn game. I will be in Panama City Beach for the holidays but the whooping and hollering will be going on down there. No telling what happens at this game.

Given their performances vs Texas A&M and Georgia and probably more than a little revenge factor thrown in I'd be surprised if the Tide didn't Roll them up pretty good. :)

I hope you beat their asses. I rarely get invested in the Iron Bowl on any measurable level, but I've really had it with their fans. They need a huge holiday serving spoon of humble pie ala Saban.

It has been unusually quiet this week. Alabama is somewhere around a touchdown favorite, which means nothing. Missouri is in and now it will be either Alabama or Mississippi State on the other sideline at the SEC Championship game. Alabama is at home so that is a plus but in this game it has turned out to not mean much. It's probably an understatement to say that special teams will be the key. If Alabama can shut down the missed field goal returns we should be okay.

Big Win for the Tide today. Too much revenge motive for the Plainsmen/Tigers/WarEagles to overcome. But then up tempo spread offenses do sometimes give the Tide problems and certainly piss off Saban!! :)

Terry, it's not the uptempo that bothers me this year it is the short pass defense. Teams are able to move the ball against us because we cannot consistently stop the 5 to 15 yard passes. We have been able to overcome it by turnovers, penalties and dropped passes. Our offense has been able to come through also in most games but in our loss and our near losses they were terrible. So turnovers, and our offensive performance are the keys because I think we have the edge in talent. :?

Edge in talent!!! You guys have 6 out of the last 7 #1 recruiting classes... I'd say maybe you have the edge in talent over the Army of Darkness! :)

Auburn has had some pretty good recruiting classes too. Corey will google it and correct me if I'm wrong but auburn has top 10 classes every year too.

celebration dances must be tough with all that sand in your vagina.

I tried to talk Alabama football positively, but you continue to be snarky. Congrats on the win and the revenge. You guys are clearly the best team in the SEC and may well be the best team in the land.

    Don,
Thanks. I just got home from my daughter's. What a game. No defense but a lot of offense. I hate those kind of games, but if Alabama has to be in one then at least we win. Win and move on, but if someone had said Auburn would score 44 points, I would have figured we had lost. Alabama came back and played a decent second half and Auburn made some mistakes in the second half that Alabama was able to capitalize on. It was ugly but a W is a W. Missouri is up next in the SECCG. We haven't played them but once I believe so we will see. I think injury wise we are in pretty good shape. :D

While I didn't watch every game yesterday...that was one of the better games I've seen all year.

This year there are a lot of almost great teams, nobody who is as dominant as that Alabama team that beat the Irish in 2012.
