You just wonder what the hell was going through the minds of some of these players who get in trouble. Sr. Safety for Miss State gets arrested and now he's likely not to play again for MSU. I don't know what his NFL future was but it's less now. Not to mention his teammates needed him for that game with Ole Miss next week. Of course as it seems so often with these kids that it's all over some problem with a woman. He was caught in a break in at a woman who he apparently knew and she had an injury. What the hell is wrong with these kids.

    Terry,
I agree. It's not like these guys don't have a bright future. Hopefully they are getting a college education, and they may have a future in the NFL. It is amazing that they still do these really stupid things.

Nothing to do with this weeks games...but doesn't this seem like Johnny should be doing this to a Longhorn action figure? :)

While there is a whole half to go and I fully expect Ohio State to come out and blow away IU, 30 points is looking pretty big right now! :)

Three turnovers by the Buckeyes as not helped our situation. Indiana for some reason always seems to be a thorn for us even at home!

I see Ole Miss lost to Arkansas today, not really surprising. Ark has looked like a team on the brink for awhile now. But I am shocked at the size of the win.

Neb losing to Minn at home was surprising. I imagine Neb fans are in the same mood as ND fans when it comes to their coach...or maybe not.

Northwestern beat Purdue handily, so maybe things are coming together for them right now. Better late than never.

Maryland beating Mich at the big house probably sealed Hoke's fate

    Stanford won the Big Game

FSU needed a late FG to beat B.C. They are stumbling and bumbling to the finish line.

Irish lose to Louisville. I can't believe how we find ways to lose.

    Holy Moly...Double OT....Wake beats Va.Tech 6-3. I wouldn't have thought that was even possible in today's football.

Ohio State finally came alive in the 4th quarter to beat Indiana. I am afraid we shot ourselves in the foot for this one as far as the playoff standings go?

On the positive side, J.T. Barrett passed for over 300 yds and set a new passing record, moving past Troy Smith.

Hoosier's tailback Coleman rushed for over 200 yards.

The beat down of the day was the beat down of Ole Miss. That game was a straight up mismatch from the opening whistle. Arkansas didn't just beat them. Arkansas physically whipped their ass in every facet of the game and took the will from them.

Looks like Bielemaball is finally coming around. They've been getting closer and closer. Now they just blanked LSU and Ole Miss..

Assuming that we do meet Whisky for the title game, I am very concerned about our weak rushing defense. We will have to score a lot of points to win that one.
