Alabama is good but not that good. Not #1 good. I'm really surprised FSU is not #1. :?:

Well it's down to 6 one loss teams and 1 undefeated team.

I think B12 teams will be at a disadvantage without the extra playoff game. I think both TCU and Baylor can win out, the interesting and most likely controversial ending will be if TCU wins out and somebody ahead of them stumbles and Ohio State jumps them in the last poll due to winning the B1G champhionship game. If none of the current top 4 stumble, or have "bad" wins while teams below them have "big" wins then this weeks final four is the end. But then history says there will be something unexpected.

Almost anything is possible in the next couple of weeks. One thing for sure is there are going to be some big disappointments for someone, who will feel they were passed over for whatever reason. I just hope it is not my Buckeyes!

    ND out of top 30?

<t>They need to play a real schedule ( this is not a dig). You can not expect to draw top notch recruits playing 7 or 8 pussies each and every year. SOS is so important. Every year after Michigan and Michigan State and maybe 2 other quality teams, they play Rice Air Force Army..UMASS! Navy etc...mabe they should get into the Big 10???</t>

So there are no pussies in the Big 10? If so why has Ohio State been criticised all year for playing a weak schedule?

    Serious question.

Have you guys seen the Big12 advertisement in which they declare they have a 'true champion' because they play everyone.

I just want to take the time to say.. F*ck you Big12. This is partly all your fault. For years, the Pac10 could say that they had a true champion in a conference of undeniable talent and depth. You and the SEC went to the "Super Conference", then rammed a system down everyone's throat forcing change that fractured the landscape of college football forever..

Nah son, you don't get to claim that after mocking it for so long. You need a title game.

    Corey,

What I find most humorous about those commercials is the statement: "games at the most exciting venues!"

Yep... we've all thought of Lubbock, Ames, Stillwater, Waco, and Lawrence as must see stops on your college football bucket list!

So if you were the B12 what would you say? Have a spokesperson out there saying...well truthfully we suck and you shouldn't vote for our teams and if you are a kid then remember we suck and you have to go to Lubbock if you can go anywhere but a B12 team??? :?: :?:

If the current final 4 win out, and they certainly could..then I doubt if TCU,Ohio State or Baylor can jump into the mix.

I guess Ohio State would have the best shot if they win out and win the B1G championship game impressively while Miss State sits home. TCU does have a game scheduled with Iowa State on Dec 6th, so while it won't be a conference championship game they won't be sitting home while the other contenders are playing for a championship.

Ohio State has a weaker finishing regular season than either Baylor or TCU but can make it up with a dominating performance in the B1G Championship game.

Bottom line though if the top 4 win out, I don't think they will get moved out of the top 4.

    Scott,

    hahaha

    T,

Well, in the years of the old Pac10 :) that last week of the regular season usually held some surprises. There was always the added pressure of winning to get into the dance against a team with nothing to lose. This is also known as UCLA's spot on USC's schedule.
