I think this goes well beyond oh well college kids will be college kids. The Tallahassee Police pretty obviously protects the FSU football players. Read more at More FSU Dirt
I am just so amazed at all the stuff FSU players get into that the cops just look the other way. How does the Pres of the University justify all this cover up?
I've seen some real stretches in logic by the NCAA used to argue that a 'competitive advantage' could be obtained through meals, cars, trips etc. Coming to Florida State has shown that you can rape, rob and crash whatever you want and not face the criminal/judicial system. If that's not a competitive advantage, I don't know what is.
The thing is, I don't hate them because they are winning. I hate them because they are literally criminals playing outside the laws. Am I supposed to believe these guys actually attend class or write papers? The TPD is openly covering up rapes, assaults as well as things such as hit-and-run accidents. What's the likelihood that these guys actually attended a physics course... ever? The national sports media refuses to condemn them, or even so much as suggesting to pass judgment. I hate that too. This isn't a college football team. They may not all be professional, but they sure as hell aren't a college football team. I've heard the NCAA will never give the Death Penalty again. I hope that's wrong. This program needs to go.
As crappy as my day was yesterday (sat in 40 degree rain for hours watching my team hang itself) I had a small ray of sunshine when I saw the score was UM 26 FSU 20. Then even that crashed to earth with the Criminoles pulling it out yet again. I can only assume they have usurped Auburn's deal with the Devil and can not lose. I'm with ya Corey, those jokers are mocking the rest of us with their blatant disregard of anything resembling rules or laws. They do what they want, and thumb their noses at us. They are public enemy #1 for me.
Well I have avoided newsprint with our loss to FSU, I guess we just aren't there yet and wished we were. We looked impressive early on but the magicians at FSU made some great halftime changes to slow us down. I am happy for the future with this team as it seems we are heading in the right direction. I just hope we never become the outlaws of old as improvement happens, believe it or not I don't want to be like FSU. They seem to have pulled a page or two from our old yearbooks and moved forward from there. We have paid the price of our misdeeds and believe me it will eventually catch up with them. I want no part of that as a team....
