Will somebody please tell me what happened in this game. I'm switching back-and-forth between the USC Utah game and the Arizona State Washinton games. there's only a couple minutes left in the USC Utah game and it looked like USC had this game in hand so I switched over to watch the Arizona State game and lo and behold a few minutes later I see a banner showing Utah had beaten USC what happened?
ND <t>I missed the last USC driv. I thought they were well into Utah terrritory with only a couple minutes left. Apparently they drove down to about the 30 yard line and turned the ball over on downs. they must have went for it on 4th down instead of kicking a field goal. the rest of it I can see in the highlights as Utah drove back downfield on a couple of big pass plays.</t>
the big play for USC was going for it on 4th and the RB stepped out of bounds when he turned the corner. Had he stayed in, they make the 1st down and the game is over. He stepped out, so they turned it over.. the rest is history. Utah is the herpes to USC's heritage. Mildly uncomfortable, at times excruciating and they just won't go away.
