I'm not zooming in on that, but I'll assume it's some sort of 'Commando Commandos' group... That has to be Michigan. Huskerman, check Facebook.
I will make one important announcement for now and be back later. The Gators will no lose this weekend.
I have an announcement and that is: Tennessee will lose this week. I'm not looking forward to Bama week. :?
I've come to appreciate this series and that it's truly one of those 'don't rule the other guys out' games of the year. It's not very likely Tennessee wins, but it's still possible.
Terry, I was so excited went the pheasant went up, I shot too soon. That was my first bird, after that I learned to give the bird more time in flight. This is not like playing golf!
Now back to football and our visit to Beaver Stadium Saturday night for a prime time game.. Looks like another whiteout and that dang Lion Roaring over the Audio System. (I hate that sound) We are favored by 13 points, which I hope is a bit low. First road game in conference play, the Nits have a decent defense, but have not been exposed to an offense like ours to date. Should be a good game for us to test how good we really might be with J.T. Barrett at the helm. Penn States offense is not as strong and their QB has been sacked 20 times this season.
I just realized that we have the next three games at 8:00 P.M. Saturday at Penn State, here with Illinois, and on the road at Michigan State. Most unusual to say the least!
Bobda, looks like little brother MSU is being pesky by painting the block M on campus green and adding "SU" to it.
Don, not surprising that the Mich State game is a Sat night game...I'm assuming it will be a National ABC game. But Illinois? Is that a Nat'l ABC game as well or a BTN/ESPN game?
TV watching for me... Noon Texas vs KState 3:30 MSU vs Kentucky and Mich/Mich State 7:00 Ole Miss vs LSU Late Pac12 aerial circus....USC vs Utah.
Ok, I was on travel for work this week and just wanted to chip in that my great-grandfather left me a Model 12 20 guage modified choke pump shotgun manufactured in 1939. He and I went crow (there was a $2 a head bounty on them), and rabbit and dove together. It was his gun but when we hunted together he insisted I carry that gun and he carried an old single shot. I was told 40 years ago to never, never have the gun blued, so it still has its nickel finish. Back then I was offered $500 dollars for it. It doesn't matter I'll never sell it anyway.
kp, nice article about Nick Saban's letter to an Alabama high school whose football coach died suddenly: http://alabama.247sports.com/Bolt/N...-high-school-after-coach-passes-away-32296776
Enjoy the reading and the stories. I am not a hunter so don't have anything to share in that area. Used to do a little fishing but seems like the big one always eluded me. Go Royals. They lead 3-2 after 6 tonight.
Oregon/CAL looks like it might be another flash back to those great games of yesteryear...1990's late night Fox games!!
