Ya know, with the exception of the Cubs there was no team in baseball more constipated than the Sox. It was no wonder.

Huge game tonight, HFHM. Weaver has been outstanding in the playoffs and the Cards are playing with confidence with Rolen finally swinging the bat well again. If the Tigers lose tonight, we would have to take 2 out of 3 in St. Louis just to bring the series back to Detroit. Considering that the Cards have both Carpenter and Suppan waiting for us, taking 2 out of 3 on the road would be really difficult.

My hope is that Weaver returns to Yankee form tonight and the Rodgers comes up big again.

Good to see you back on the boad and congrats on your new job.

And sorry about the Huskers. The Good Doctor has been making noises about Texas sneaking into the BCS title game and I was hoping that you guys were going to snuff that candle out. My guess is that walk on kicker is probably going to find a nice bag of "Austin gold" in his locker, courtesy of his grateful teammates
