Another chance to adjust our offense, and another game of 5 yard patterns.
Our last series showed a deep WR was breaking open, but instead Kenny tries to hit the in cut... which the target didn't run.

Could be 50-0 by half time...

I know how you feel, but who knew where this Alabama team came from. They didn't show up the last 2 games. Hill looks like he is having the kind of game Sims had last week.

I don't know where this performance by Alabama came from. The biggest difference that I could see from last week is we ran the ball effectively. We threw the ball much better but we ran the ball a lot better. 2nd string got a lot of good snaps too. :D

The wheels have been off the play calling for about 4 weeks. Today they came off EVERYTHING else.
Bama wanted to play football, the Aggies looked like they wanted to play patty-cake.

The D-line and RBs are decent. The rest are questionable at best.
Don't even get me.started on that vaunted Oline...

Better do a lot of shuffling for this last leg of the season.

You have three OL in Kippers top 10 at their position, including your sr OT who is a top 10 draft pick.

Please tell me that Bama used up all of its scoring capability this week!

    Tom,
It depends on which Alabama team shows up.

Yeah the team that showed up for the Gators was back today. Did Missouri clone those guys and take them to Gainesville it's pretty ugly over there as well.

A thought on Alabama's offense. I watched 3 different shows with 3 different guys breaking down Alabama's offensive troubles. (this was obviously before this game today)

Each guy made mention of the fact that teams are loading against the run and bracketing the WRs downfield. Now, before KP says this is obvious, I'll get to the point. The point is that all 3 guys pointed to the fact that Sims had WIDE OPEN running lanes on all of these plays that went for turnovers or stops.

From what I saw in this game, Sims tucked the ball and took what the defense gave him just enough to force the defenses hand.. I could be wrong, but sometimes it's little adjustments that blow a game plan up.

I think Arkansas did load up to stop the run. The Alabama line could not overcome that and Sims had a terrible day passing the ball. A&M's defense obviously did not play well and Hill had a terrible day. I do think that the dropped interception at the goal line could have changed the game at least early on. I was very happy with our running game....aw hell, I was happy with everything yesterday. :D
