Irish pick up another verbal. Indiana LB Asmar Bilal. He had a lot of good offers, Michigan, Michigan State, Tenn, Nebraska. I don't think we'll have to worry about him being homesick..he's a midwest kid.

Still waiting till next week on Coney the LB from Fla who is down to the Gators or ND, he will be an early entry if he decides for ND. Coach D likes him a lot, much more than Bilal.

    ND

<t>Well I can't say I didn't expect Bilal to commit to ND but it's been between ND and michigan for a while and with all that's happened at um it was pretty much a foregone conclusion. I for one enjoy getting these great quality players from Indiana. <br/>
It been a good last 7 or 8 days for the Irish as far as recruiting goes with 3 highly sought recruits jumping on board. I wonder with the loss of the guys for academics just how many the Irish will take in this class?</t>

Surprised JIF is making baseball predictions. Thought he would be distracted while the stock market has been in crash and burn mode for several weeks.

We need BT back to offer his traditional calm reassurace to those like JIF and me who envision impending Armageddon when the market starts coughing up losses.

Oh.....I'm sorry.......I thought this was the ND-FSU topic. I'll just quietly close the door and look elsewhere.

By the way, I agree with George. Jif's pick of the Cards is the kiss of death for AJ.

    Back to ND/FSU.

Now I know that the world is cruel, the world doesn't necessarily reward the good guys, etc.

But if there was such a thing as a fair world, then Sat night Joe Schmidt would have the game of his life, pick off Winstons, sack him on some blitzes and in genearl be the guy who leads the ND defense in the defeat of the FSU offense and Winston. Joe is that good guy who represents what's great about college football, Winston is of course the anti-Joe Schmidt.

Well unlike you guys I hope Winston gets booted NOW.

While they are at it they should boot Jimbo also for enabling.

The count on signed items is now over 2000 from what I have heard. However according to Jimbo those are all for deserving kids.

I'm totally with Corey about FSU.

I just watched the entire replay of the 1993 ND-FSU game. What a great game.

There was a creepy element to watching the replay in 2014. O.J. Simpson was the TV sideline reporter on the FSU side of the field.

    atta boy Tim! :)

    As for the game
Without the dark, there is no light. Not everyone who plays on our defense is a good guy. I hope Redfield catches him in the open field or along the sideline and cuts him in half, or Trumbetti gets him in the backfield and plants him like a lawn stake.
