I think Muschamp could lose Saturday but still save his job if UF beats either Georgia or FSU plus either SouCar or LSU and Missouri in either case.... going 3-2 against those 5.

The only way he stays going 2-3 in that lot plus a Tenn loss is if UF were to beat Ga and FSU for the two wins.

3-2 with a loss this Sat. to Tenn would make UF 7-4 with 3 or 4 SEC losses.

Going 6-5 and he's done unless as I say he beats both Ga and FSU.

Beating Tenn but going 2-3 against those 5 with losses to both Ga and FSU sends him packing as well unless UF were to somehow win the SEC East with three conference losses.

About to start the second leg of the trip to MustangFest 2104. Leaving from San Antonio this morning headed to Corpus Christi to be part of the "up to 350" mustangs on the deck of the USS Lexington. I will not be able to see the game until I get back to Hutto on the 6th.

This quickly aging young team gets a few key members back from injuries this week. My prediction:

    Tennessee 24
    Florida 21

Funny how times change, back in the Spurrier/Fulmer days this was the premium early season SEC game. The winner likely won the SEC or the SEC East when you split into divisions.

Now with this sat being such a big Sat in the SEC, nobody is even talking about this game.

You can bitch about the polls all you want but 4 of the top 12 teams in the AP poll will be playing in the state of Mississippi tomorrow. I wonder if that has ever happened?

I don't think it has, but if Bama and A&M blow the doors off their opponents, those guys won't be in the top 12 for long.. Then again, with everyone losing lately, it may be a last man standing in November kinda thing.

Ole Miss and Miss State could be #2 and #3 in the polls. I am pretty sure that has never happened either. This is really going to be a great football Saturday. Like I said earlier, I am going out to cut grass then sit down with Senor Corona and watch football all day. I will put extra batteries by my chair because I have a feeling I will wear out the remote. 8)

It was good while it lasted. Tennessee line can't block my grannie and she is dead.

Florida up by one and our offense can't move the ball except in the negative direction.

With 5 minutes left, the Vol defense must rise and take one back or the outcome will not be good.

Fwith Florida at a low point we can't take advantage of it. Tennessee might as well move to the FCS.

what a crazy day so far.

What happened in the UT Florida game that has my Vol buddies upset? I didn't see the morning games, which helps because I can pretend that A&M didn't get their ass kicked that bad. But as I'm trying to get caught up on the morning round, I'm seeing a lot of bitching about a non-penalty or something?!? I'm confused.

Driskel didn't play? There sue wasn't much offense from the Gators, at least on the stat line. 76 yds passing, is the new QB a running QB?

I sure expected to lose after 3 quarters.

I expect that we will see a different QB start next week, or at least see significant playing time from here on out.

Terry, I just saw that clip too. You would think he might concentrate on praising his team...

I didn't see what Muschamp said as anything malicious..... just an exaltation after a huge win for his program in a very hostile SEC environment.

Very nice touch on the checkerboard stadium seating.... pretty cool.

Didn't see it but he probably just listened to three hours of cursing directed at him from the bleachers so he can be excused I guess.

I saw it. Muschie is a trash talking bag of dicks. At that moment, it became abundantly clear to me that he's out of his element. He's a defensive coordinator, not a head coach.

Spurrier could needle you, but the most frustrating thing was the truth of his sarcasm..and it was always fairly light.. like locker room banter.

Muschamp did this after beating Texas A&M and he's doing it again at Tennessee..Why rip on the other team's fans for showing up and cheering for their team? That dude's gotta go.
