How much did Tennessee learn from the massacre at Oklahoma? How much did they prepare in the off week? Two questions that are key in today's outcome.

Georgia, though not a one trick pony, does rely on Gurley quite heavily. I think we will see the "Beast", A. J. Johnson, keying in on Gurley most of the day. This could leave us vulnerable in other areas but our rush ability should limit the time to find receivers.

I am not at all confident in our young team's ability to pull of the victory but I believe we are flying under the radar and this is a big opportunity for an upset. This game is part of the money contest I play in (Includes all SEC conference games) and I have picked Tennessee but with only 1 confidence point.

Well, it was a good start to get to 10-0 Tennessee but it appears that the Bulldawgs are waking up. 10-7 Tennessee now with us going 3 and out on the last two possessions.

    Can't let up now.

These Vols don't know the word quit. They have been double digits down several times and keep coming back. 2:14 left and Tennessee is down by only 3. This may not be a championship year... but the determination of this young squad will be looked upon as the possible turning point for the Tennessee Vols!

I know the Vols lost Tom but they sure didn't go down easy.

Two similar teams meet next week in Knoxville.

I am encouraged by the effort in this close loss. The OL was not perfect in pass protection but did show improvement. I am not as concerned about next week's game now. Go Vols!

Tom, according to a lot of our doom and gloom posters on GatorCountry the Gators may never win another game and should give up football. :(

I didn't watch the game but just looking at the stats, Todd Gurley had a really great game for Georgia. He's probably the best football player in the country, Heisman type, right now.

But for as young a team as the Vols are to go on the road and play Oklahoma and Georgia back to back is a very tough thing to ask your young team. But while the Vols are 0-2 in those games, they seem to be maturing.

Home cooking vs the Gators might be just what mamma ordered.

I thought the young Vols played quite well. The difference in this game was Gurley.

They are just maneuvering to devalue the upcoming Vol defeat of the Gators.

Hey..... can't let those nasty Vols enjoy it too much... heh heh.

It's like losing your girlfriend to another guy and then saying how ugly she really was. :D

I watched this game and Tennessee should have won. The Vol QB missed several wide-open receivers early in the game that should have been TDs...
