What happened in the UM/Utah game between Hoke and Mattison? There's a gif going around that appears to show Hoke saying mean words to Mattison and Greg giving him some stuff back?

I assume that baring a miracle turnaround that Hoke has lost the fan base at Michigan. But has he lost Dave Brandon?

Is it possible that Lane Kiffin is actually a very good offensive coordinator?

From what I understand, Mattison was called for a sideline personal foul late in the 2nd half for being on the field of play which led to a Utah FG putting them up 13-10 and the blow up between Hoke and Mattison.

Looks like Wazzu and Oregon are going to light up the scoreboard tonight but I'm done. I'll have to read about it in the papers.

    Terry,
I have to admit I am surprised as well. Sometimes strange things happen in college football and this new development might be one of them, unless he lays an egg along the way.

Well I see that Wazzu gave Oregon a hell of a game. Did Wazzu coog it in the end or did they get beat legit?

I've got tickets to the Alabama/Miss St. game. Should be good.
Grrr! I hate to admit, it may be very possible. So he has just done it backwards. Usually, you are an assistant coach before you get a shot at head coach. He seems to be a much better assistant than head coach.

Yes..... and since his wife is a Gator you may be looking at the next HBC at Florida..... as unpopular as that would be in so many circles.... including in my stomach.

I'll answer for Kes who is flying back to Salt Lake City right about now.

Wazzu showed what they could be.
They sacked Mariotta multiple times, and played well overall. Halliday didn't throw a pick (although he did flirt with a few) and when he's clean Leach's offense will move and score.
Unfortunately... as WSU was driving for what could be the go ahead score in the 4th, the RB fumbled at the Oregon 38. Oregon hit a couple of explosive plays and boom, down 7.
The Cougs then drove it down again, and on a 3rd and 8 at the Duck 35... the Oregon DB mauled a WSU receiver... no call.
Had to go on 4th down, and the defense finally got through for a sack, allowing Oregon to run out the clock.
If that Coug team would show up every week... they would be 3-1 right now and a threat to all left on their sched.
    We'll see what happens.
I'm going to the Utah game with Kesley next week, so I'll get to see first hand.

The wildest game of the day had to be Cal/Az. Cal was up 31-13 at the end of the third quarter. Az scored 5 touchdowns and a FG in the 4th inluding a Hail Mary at the end of the game to pull off an amazing 49-45 comback win

Wonder what beer BDR chose to celebrate that incredible win?
