Gary Patterson of TCU taking a shot at the Big 10!! Funny thing is the team he just beat, Minn, is coached by a good friend, Jerry Kill, of his who happened to be his best man at his wedding. Gary Patterson, the TCU head coach, during his weekly conference call was asked about the progress his offense has been making each week: "I have no idea [if the offense has progressed]," answered Patterson. "We played Samford and then played a Big Ten team."
Not surprising, David Ash the Texas QB has given up football due to his problem with head injuries. I'm sorry it ended this way, but his long term health is more important than playing QB. Maybe they can make something out of Tyrone Swoopes, I don't know...but Strong doesn't have a lot of options here. Reminds me a lot of the QB problems that Kelly inherited when he took over.
Aggies going to bring in an entire new field while they are out of town playing SMU in Dallas. The old new field was a perm slip and slide.
Ok 8+21+7+8+25+30+33= 132 On the other hand 8x21x7x8x25x30x33= 232,848,000 If it's money you might get take the second number, it's much bigger. By the way those are nice seats. You have them for season tickets?
Big play 1st half. 2 huge pass plays by Alabama and several very big turnovers forced by the Gator defense. Gator defense is going to have to win this, Gator offense doesn't look very good.
I had to laugh watching Muschamp arguing an offside call after his team surrendered 700 yards and 42 points.
Ok, Alabama passing game is pretty damn good. Running game will wear the defense down. Alabama defense is still suspect because (sorry Bill and MCG) but the Florida offense is not very good. I think all of Florida's points came off of turnovers. So overall I am reasonably pleased. 8)
Boy this Mia/Neb game is a high energy game. Abdullah and Duke Johnson are really fun backs to watch.
I missed what happened to Vandy's QB Rivers, but since he went down, SCAR has come back to take the lead there. If Vandy can stop shooting themselves in the foot, they've got a chance here.
