    OK you have our schedule.

BTW: According to Kelly today in his press conference Alex Rodriguez was in the stands wearing a Notre Dame T-Shirt. Or at least that was the question
First I thought he was a Miami Hurricane, second what the heck would he be doing at a ND game anyway. He has no kids, I wonder if he has some relative who attends. Maybe Krebs got him some tickets. Was he sitting next to Joel? :)

Just tread carefully in the tall grass of Skybox, brother AJ. He lightened the wallet of a retiree and took food out of the mouth of an aging Goldendoodle last weekend and, by October, he probably will be rooting for the Dodgers.

The UPS tracker says its in Hodgkins, IL. Supposed to be delivered by the end of Friday unless some UPS staffer has a criminal fondness for jelly.

Re the future and given ND's shift to the ACC, looks like Ralph and Florida peaches are in your future!

I started following football in 1949 and lived in Miami. The first game I went to was the University of Miami vs Kentucky in the Orange Bowl. Babe Parilli was the Kentucky QB and Bear Bryant their coach. They were really good and beat Miami by I believe a score of 21 - 6.

From that time until I attend the University of Florida starting in Sept 1955 I was a diehard Cane fan. I started attending the games in the Orange Bowl and listening on the radio for away games and when I couldn't go to a home game.

Now to my point, the 1950 season was the first full season I was tuned in every game. I remember so well when Purdue ended Notre Dame's long winning streak that season and then Miami played them at Purdue the next week.

Shock of shocks the Hurricanes won 20-14 and the city of Miami went crazy. Beating the team that ended Notre Dames winning streak. It put the Hurricanes on the map.

You know, Bill, I once knew but had long forgotten that it was Purdue that ended ND's unbeaten streak. Purdue was a very strong program in the 50s, 60s, and early 70s. I believe Jack Mollenkopf was the coach when you heard that game in 1950. He was legendary until he became a victim of his own success. In my first season as a ND student (1962) the Purdue fans were calling for him to be fired. It was a classic case of be careful what you wish for. Purdue continued to give ND fits, as Gip mentioned earlier, and even got to the Rose Bowl in the late 60s, but the program never got back to its previous winning ways under Mollenkopf.

    Corey,
I just wonder why you only want to hear "an hour of brutal honesty and non-PC conversation and the southern sports world"?. Are you ok with the dishonesty and PC conversation about the sports world in the rest of the country? :?
