He has won something like 37 in a row in his career now, I read. They have another young reliever you should watch, Dellin Betances. 6'8" , throws high 90's with a hard sinker and change. He has been basically unhittable. Has struck out the last 8 batters he has faced. came in the other night with a full boat and one out and struck out the two men he faced on 7 pitches.

I saw the big kid last night. He's one of the scariest intimidators to come along in quite some time...

I could use him on my Fantasy team, but unfortunately it is an NL only league.

Sounds like the Yankees have a real winner.

    Now 11-1 with a 1.99 ERA

Typical game. Gives up early HR, this time on first pitch , then nothing else. Anther 10 Ks in 6 innings.

It's rare that you get what you pay for but so far, so good.

Samardzja wants a 100 million.....chump change for the Yankees....Tanaka and Samardzja as a 1-2 punch would be pretty sweet if you are a Yankee fan. Question is since Samardzja favors the Samson look with hairstyle (before Deliah cut it) will he be willing to cut his hair?

Hell, we pay our pool boy more than that and he can wear his hair anyway that he wants...

As strange as it may sound these days, if you want to play for the Yankees you will be getting a nice haircut and sporting a close shave. Otherwise, you can play elsewhere.

    :!:

We were supposed to be full up, but our bullpen full of all-stars pooped the bed.

Sayonara. Probable Tommy John. 4 out of 5 starters gone, probably for the season. Only 40 year old Kuroda still standing.

Carlos Beltran went on the DL today. He has a concussion and two broken facial bones that were self inflicted.

Seems he was taking BP under the granstand when he lined a ball off the cage frame and it caromed back into his face knocking him out.

    Is it football season yet?
