It has been a long process but it is finally taking shape. Here is a chronological picture history of the reason we moved from Round Rock to Hutto. If you recall, Cindy planted the seed and I agreed that we had enough house at 2200 sq ft but the three car garage just wasn't big enough. We found a 2175 sq ft house with a two car garage on a little over 1/2 acre... room for expansion that we didn't have in Round Rock. We are building a 4 car, 22 ft X 40 ft garage to add up to 6 cars.

This link should get you to the Garage build album I created in my Facebook account.

The Garage addition is 880 sq ft and has a 10 ft ceiling. The unusual part is that there is a 20 X 10 ft section in the center that is 14 ft tall. I have ordered a hydraulic lift that is moveable. It will be positioned in the back left corner with my car on it. When it is needed for lifting cars to maximum height, the lift can be moved to the higher ceiling area and I will be able to stand upright under the car. We are probably about 2 weeks away from drywall where that will be evident in photos.

The resident of the top bunk on the lift is not even available yet. My dealer is already sharpening his pencil.

6.2L of supercharged 600+ HP. I am part of the 5%

Sunshine Kids Cruise tomorrow morning. For anyone that has not heard of this organization, they give young cancer patients "happy days" to offset the misery of their day to day lives.

Our part tomorrow is a group of 30 sports/exotic cars pick the kids up in New Brunsfiels and gives them a police escorted cruise to the state capitol where they get to meet the governor and tour the capitol.

Saturday, we are also privileged to be selected as two of the bikes/trikes that will take them on a cruise through the Texas Hill Country.

I was not able to do the car cruise due to work the last time this happened but was thrilled to be selected for the bike/trike cruise. This time I get to do both. :D :D :D

The garage build is far enough along that it is providing "dew" protection for the newly cleaned cars participating early tomorrow morning.

Two steps back and 50 steps forward... The Hellcat was taking too long to even give details on cost and actual power other than 600+. I started exploring other avenues. I am now the proud owner of a 2014 Shelby GT 500. 662 horses and 631 lb ft of torque.

Cindy and I are now a house divided. I've thought of having hats made up with "Forge" airbrushed on them. Ford/Dodge = Forge. :)

... Oh, BTW, nobody in my car club knows yet. They will find out when they get to the Thursday night dinner this week. I took delivery today. Please do not post anything about this on my Facebook account.

Pictures to follow. I use my facebook account to store pictures online and want to keep this under wraps until Thursday evening's car club dinner. Don't want those guys and gals to see it on facebook before the reveal.
