Tornado just went through west part of Decatur. Opposite side of Decatur from me and I'm not sure where Corey is. A couple of people killed north of Decatur this afternoon.
 Carson and Will are holed up in a courthouse with their southern grandma. Corey and Brittney are in the shelter that goes with their apartment...
Last I heard from Corey he was watching the lightening and having Mom listen to air raid sirens. they had 3 at least tornado's pass them and expected more last night they stayed home w. animals. and Corey stocked up on tamales (that's my kid) . looks like they are in for more today// KP glad you are safe. Stay safe today as well I will take my wind and earthquakes any day I don't like lightening
I'm in SE, so it's the opposite side of town from me as well. Limestone County took an ass kicking yesterday. We have one more day of this ********, then we'll probably be good for another few weeks. Thunderstorms seem to roll through every few weeks during the spring. These storms were awful though. I've noticed a pattern that has held true once again. Years in which there's snow storms and a 'bad' winter in north Alabama yields Springs that produce killer tornadoes. That'll teach 'em for liking snow.
Every time I see these great real estate deals in Limestone, Northern Madison and Cullman counties I have to remind myself that spring comes every year and rebuilding would be too expensive.
Very glad you and your family are safe and sound, Corey. One small silver lining is that you moved from Duluth. Tomorrow's forecast there calls for a mix of rain and SNOW on May friggen 1st.
haha! true story, I miss Duluth. I liked it there a great deal. My ex hated it, but then again that's kinda par for every course. My life was exponentially better and the snow (as you know) is just something you live with and work around. There's no escaping the summer heat in Alabama.
