It looks like Diane will be OK after giving us a scare. We came home from the restaurant Friday night and her heart was racing so badly that I ran her over to St. Mary Hospital. Her pulse was 181 and they couldn't get it down, so she's been undergoing tests since then. She's currently at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Ontario, after enjoying an 80 mile ambulance ride down the hill and through the Cajon Pass. Everything checked out OK: no heart problems; no thyroid problems; no cancers; and no tumors. Her racing heart appears to be a combination of anxiety and caffeine, so the coffee will go to decaf around here. I'm not sure what we'll do about the Easter dinner that she was going to prepare, but I suspect that we'll be eating ham and eggs for the next month. She's expected back home some time tomorrow...
Joco please tell her she's in our prayers and it's one heck of a way to not have to cook Easter dinner..... Take special care with her and Happy Easter
Hi Guys thanks for the good wishes they let me come home good thing too... Joco and Dudley missed me(but not as much as I missed them) I have to take at easy for a while. new diet for no stress ....... my arms look like a black and blue pin cushion but I am glad to be home.. It was a real scare. was a little stress and anxiety can do.... Love you all
Missed this topic as I had been browsing only the sports topics the past few days. Really happy to read that you are doing better, Diane. I will write to Mattingly to tell him to quit platooning his outfielders and return Andre to the status of an everyday player. Might help accelerate your return to tip top health.
Thanks Boda... Andre has been playing with the flu even then he owned Arizona.... Crawford was terrible... only get to see highlights we don't get to watch the Dodgers, we don't have Time Warner its not available and no other cable companies carry the special Sports Net Channel they developed to carry games... Very sad.
