So the Jets decide to release Sanchez after the period when most teams had already signed new Qbs.

    Nice guy that Ryan.....

Excuse the video ad boys..... but I suspect you'll thank me later.

Next up for an inglorious end to his NFL career is Michael Vick.

    Good luck with that Mike.

So let me get this straight, Buttfumble gets the largest contract the Jets have ever given, can't beat out rookie Smith and we're supposed to feel for him? The Jets probably offered him to other teams for a low draft pick and no one was interested. Just what teams were beating down the door for him?

Even if they were shopping him he would have been better off with an earlier release so he could latch on somewhere else.

Let's see now..... I wouldn't want the Jets management to have a custodial hold over my future from what I have seen.

As I say..... you can also say adios amigos to the dog killer at this point.

    Who's next? Peyton Manning? lol

Texans got a high 6th round pick for Matt Schaub, surprised that the Jets couldn't do better for Butt Fumble.

As a Jet season ticketholder ( for now, anyway ), I help pay all the salaries of those you mention.

Sanchez was dreadful. Hardly any meaningful college experience, took bad advice and came out early. The Jets goofed taking him. So now he's a millionaire.

You are apparently the only person on the sunny side of the sod who did not know as far back as one year ago that Sanchez would never take another snap for the Jets again. It is no secret that he has been trade bait that entire time. Geno Smith sucks and Sanchez couldn't beat him out. They waited and waited and no one would trade them as much as a used jock for Sanchez so they let him go. Someone will pick him up as a second or third stringer but he is weak armed, slow footed and panic stricken in the pocket.

I have yet to speak with a Jets fan who is happy to see Vick here. Many are not renewing their tickets and I may join them. Personally, I hope he breaks both his legs on the first snap he takes in a pre season game.

Rex Ryan is a good coach. Woody Johnson is a terrible, meddling owner.

Ownership is so important in the NFL. Bill Belichick was fired by the Browns as they moved to Baltimore. Then he was fired by the Jets after serving just one day as their head coach. Contrast these two with the New England Patriots owner, who gave the Jets a 1st Round pick for Belichick, and then gave him complete control of the franchise. Five Super Bowls later, it looks like the Pats got a bargain...

You know that the Jets have very few if any fans that are Gators after the Tebow debacle.

We just sit back and watch them twist in the wind and rather enjoy it honestly.

And doesn't this statement below about Ryan tip the reader just how Ryan felt about Sanchez vs. Tebow:

"Jets Coach Rex Ryan once felt so certain of quarterback Mark Sanchez that he repeatedly referred to him as Sanchize and had a tattoo of his wife wearing a Sanchez jersey added to his right arm."

Based on that it seems like Ryan was indeed behind the castration of Tebow's career and responsible also for wasting a very high draft pick for the Jets organization not to mention millions of dollars in salary.

This reminds me of the years back when Lions fans insisted that Matt Millen had secret questionable photos of Bill Ford Jr. and before that Russ Thomas of Bill Ford Sr.
    :D

How Ryan keeps his job is beyond ridiculous.

We are now into the 654th day of the NFL conspiracy to keep Tim Tebow from being a starter at QB in the NFL.

    Free Tim Tebow!! :)

Well Terry the Jets don't give the slightest clue that they know what they're doing.

It's pretty laughable... sorta like watching a buttfumble

I guess you could apply that rationale to the signing of Tim Tebow.

Basically I agree with you Sid.

Tebow went from playoff hero..... season saver at Denver to a misfit amongst dysfunctional misfits in NY with a foot lovin Bozo as his coach.

I do wish he would have gone to someplace that would have tried to utilize his skills as a starting Qb right from the start.

I don't think Ryan ever had that intention given his man crush on Buttfumble.

The Jets and the Broncos have had their turns with Tebow. What is stopping the other 30 teams ?
