150 scholarship offers that's pretty amazing. True story: Here in Houston we used to have what were called "Magnet" schools. They were typically minority high schools that they would put a special program at, such as Engineering, to attract kids who wanted to go to college and major in Engineering. So it was also a time when many colleges were trying desperately to increase their minority enrollments, good time to be a very smart minority. I went to a graduation of a friend of mine kid at basically an all black school with an Aerospace Magnet school that his kid attended. The top black kids in his class all had over 100K in scholarship offers to choose from, I don't know if that's still true but it was eye opening to see the amount of money offered to minorities who were high achievers.
