Ah thank you Tom. Yahoo is making us jump though some additional hoops but I think I am registered. How's it going?
Yeah there was a lot of griping about that over on InsideTexas with a number of guys saying they wouldn't go through the new process and didn't join. I'm in.
I'm in. Terry, it's the requirement to provide your cell phone number. I ran into the same thing when starting another Yahoo group. The requirement includes permission for Yahoo to send marketing /promotional texts. It didn't bother me, but it does bother some folks.
I run an office pool each year which has morphed into something much larger since 1995. If interested, e-mail or private message me.
Terry, I had forewarned you, but I picked them to win also! Good game with many lead changes, but Dayton certainly deserved the win.
Harvard was a popular upset pick, but who had North Dakota State? With RoGator leading with 12 correct, we have no future billionaires!! Oh well.
Don I really thought that the fact that it was another Ohio school would have the Buckeyes fired up and playing their best.
That, and, 1) I know they play in a competitive conference, and 2) the pre-tourney scoop on Oklahoma was not convincing. Hey, it's all guesswork. Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes not. This year, I decided I was not going to go only with the better seeded teams. I looked much harder at upset possibilities. I felt comfortable picking NC State over St. Louis, but I didn't know that NCS would blow a big lead at the FT line. Still, luck was on my side last night. Tonight easily could be another story.
Duke lost Don. Yeah I know you knew. I have no idea what happened, but I think it has to do with the amount of parity in College Basketball. There are any number of lower seeds who can win this. Kentucky probably being the best example, if those 7-8 future NBA players they have put it together they could win it all as an 8 seed.
Don, what did us in was not taking care of the ball. I don't know why but for a stretch there it looked like all our guys were wearing gloves. Bad passes, missed catches...and just losing the ball while dribbling. Ross lost the ball twice just going into a layup move (with nobody else touching it) and somebody (can't remember who) just plain fell down. Even Craft had a bunch of unforced errors. And we still almost pulled it out.
