Big game for both the Gators and the Tigers. If Auburn loses then that's two in the SEC for them, if the Gators lose we drop into a tie with Tennessee for first in the East and lose our chance at the BCS Bowl Championship. Stay tuned.
Hey Don, do you think I'm giving away my secrets? Why the Gators of course.
Auburn will be pumped and prepped on the Gators by their coaching staff and after the loss they will be listening intently. After seeing this Gator team in person I would be surprised if they gave anything less than a stellar performance this Sat. That said...hopefully factors such as injuries and refs do not seriously impact this game and if so then I will go with UF in a very tough game.... 23-20. UF's run defense is the real deal and Irons will get some yards but the endzone is elusive vs. Florida. Auburn Qb Brandon Cox was sacked 5 times by Arkansas so I expect UF's pass rush will get to Cox many times on Sat. and the opportunistic Gator D will get some TOs.
You guys keep wanting Auburn to be good, but they are not good. Gator defense is much better than either So. Car or Ark and they didn't do much against those two teams. Gators will win no problem unless they just shoot themselves in the foot. Terry
 I tend to agree with Terry here. I keep hearing how good Auburn is, but I haven't seen it. If they are any good, then they are a dangerous team right now. Their backs are to the wall and they're at home... but this is their last chance to prove anything. I keep seeing half the SEC being ranked, but I've only seen two outstanding teams so far: Florida and Tennessee. Below the Top 10, everything is murky indeed...
I see this game is on ESPN Full Circle. I am going to assume that a ref can't scratch his nose without it being seen from about 5 different angles. I like that....
I still believe Auburn is a good team, how good? Only time will tell, I'm not throwing them under the bus for one loss.
I would agree that they are a good team, but not a top 10 type team this year. Maybe the talent is there but so far they haven't been able to put it together, unless they do they are going to be a 4 loss team. Of course maybe this is the week that they find their groove! Terry
Auburn may be overrated...but by no means is this going to be a cake-walk game for the gators. Its on the road and it could go either way. This is arguably are toughest opponent left on the schedule. Go Gators!!
Well I'm a vols fan at heart always have and always will be but with this being said I'm always a fan of any team against florida so GO TIGERS!! The only good gator is one made into a suitcase
Game is tonight... I'll be over in Kalamazoo watching with my two oldest sons who go to school there. I am glad this game is on ESPN...."Full Circle".....It is getting a lot of scrutiny and hopefully that translates into a fairly and competently called game by the zebras...which at Auburn is hard to come by. Auburn will be hard enough to beat on the field without help from the refs. I still go with my 23-20 prediction as Aub get's a "pick 6" for a TD but only musters 13 points on offense vs. a strong Gator defense. Tebow runs for a TD and throws for one....Wynn gets 100 yards.. Hetland breaks the tie with of all things a 40 yard plus FG late in the game...what goes around comes around.....
Tough loss for the Gators, in the first half the Auburn Defense looked like Swiss Cheese but after the half they played great and forced Gator errors, that blocked punt was a killer. I will say that was a very tough call on the Leake fumble on the sack, I'm not sure it was a fumble, it looked like he pumped and was bringing it back. In the NFL it's not a fumble that's the tuck rule. I know if I were a Gator I'd not like that call, I am sure MCG's head exploded. FG would've made it 20-18 and while that is no guarantee that Auburn wouldn't have scored again to win 21-20. But still a tough call to swallow. Terry
I'm still at my daughters house in Jacksonville. It was a hard fought typical SEC football game. I think Auburn showed tonight that they are tough, very tough. However I do have to say that I've never seen footbal at any level that when the QB's arm is going forward to throw a pass you can consider it a fumble. In my mind that clearly was an incomplete pass and how the people in the booth could call it any other way floors me. But take nothing away from Auburn who played a great ball game and shut us out in the 2nd half, even if it was aided by a bad call. Congratulations to Auburn, but a big boo to the refs. And that's all I'll have to say on that topic, our job now is to win out and hope we get a rematch.
Well I picked up the point. I will give Auburn credit they did play tough. Who would have thought they would beat you guys without scoring and offensive touchdown. I thought that your defense played well enough to win, they held Auburn several times forcing FG's. Your offense, while it made a lot of big plays just couldn't really get rolling, Leake besides the disputed call, just made enough big mistakes to keep the Tigers in the game, and as I said that punt block was a killer.
I see Troy Blackmon picked up the controversial fumble. He's just comming of a suspension in time to play against Fla. I guess that's the SEC way. Very poetic.
 It was a great game to watch: one of the better games of this season for sure. Leake was horrible all day. I think the Gators will be much better off next year with Tebow running Urban's system... The call wasn't controversial to me at all. It was clearly a fumble any way you looked at it and the officials got it right. If the defensive player batted it away, its a fumble. If Leake's arm was going forward, its still a fumble if he wasn't attempting to pass and he wasn't. If his arm was going backward, that's a fumble too. There's no tuck rule in college football. This isn't the NFL and I prefer the college rules here: a fumble is a fumble if the ball comes out and the QB isn't attemping to pass. That's a good rule and the NFL should adopt it... Great game! So who is #2 now? USC or Michigan?
Gipper, The guy was out 6 games. So you guys who said Auburn isn't very good, now what do you think? They look pretty damn good to me.
