    I agree, Terry. Many of the cathedrals picture in the article are magnificent, especially those in Europe.

    I find it interesting that the namesake of my kids' high school, Joseph Gregory Dwenger, was the presiding bishop in 1870 when the cathedral was completed. I didn't know that.

    <t>well it's NSD eve. I will not sleep well tonight and I'll be a basket case tomorrow until I see those LOIs roll into the fax at ND. Hopefully no last minute surprises from these young men who have already given their verbal commit and it would be nice if we picked up a couple of last minute decisions that went our way for a change. Go Irish!</t>

    Cage was set to announce at noon. I hope this isn't a repeat of last year when ND showed _________ LOI and ruined his big announcement in California for later that day. I forget his name.

    Mackenzie to Georgia!! LOL...this kid has been all over the place, didn't even know UGA was a player. I thought it would be maybe Oregon, Clemson, or the Gators. Terrific talent, we'll see him on more than one highlight Sat afternoons.

    Cage

    <t>Cage is in. The Mackenzie kid is really something huh? Georgia? Kid has a lot of talent but if the way he went about his recruiting tell you anything, it makes you think we will probably be better off in the end without him.</t>

    In the end as upset as I was for Dickerson bailing on us, we ended up trading Dickerson and Yeargin to Cage and Makwaouh and I think we needed the two DT's more than we needed another LB and a DE.

    Not to mention that Dickerson didn't play much his Sr. year due to a back injury which he supposedly is full recovered from, but still missing your Sr. year has to hurt his development at least a little.

    So everybody is in, only possibility left out there is Micah Quick who is going to have his press conference after school on the west coast. Alexander is going to Stanford and if JuJu announces for ND then we'll have to rush a medical team to Tim's house in El Paso. :)

    <t>The Nelson kid definately has a mean /nasty side to him huh. Nice O line haul for the Irish with this class again. <br/>
    <br/>
    Terry, I agree on the D line for this class. Picking up the 2 DTs at the end really helps.</t>

    I watched the video. At the HS level, Nelson's a man among boys, punishing any opponent who has the misfortune to get in his path. Much like George. :lol:

    Lives about ten miles north of me. Played for a local powerhouse Red Bank Catholic. One of his line mates was Joe Klecko's son. Real rep as a badass on the field around here.

    I told him that with his degree from ND I could guarantee him a psoition in my Accounts Receivable Dept. 8)

    <r>Well the composite recruiting class ranking for ND #10. Looks like a good not great class. Lost a couple of good recruits along the way that could have put us higher but hey, it is what is is. I'm sure there are a lot of schools that would love to have our class. My own analogy is it feels like my glass is 3/4 full. <br/>
