I wonder if Saban and Monte Kiffin coached together at one time or are good friends? Maybe he's known Lane since he was a kid and thinks of him like a Son.

Might want to leave little Lame Kitten home when Bama comes to Neyland this year. I recorded a game with Florida where you could see a laser dot dancing on Spurrier's chest. Imagine what would happen to that little a$$hole if he ever set foot in Tennessee again.

I have no idea why Saban would hire Kiffin. I am going to be afraid every time he hits the recruiting trail.

I will say this, as KP touched on, Lane won't be out in the media saying stupid things all the time. He can say whatever the hell he wants to recruits and you'll never catch him because it's 'he said he said' at best.

The guy is a stout OC and has shown he knows what to do when the gun is loaded. I can actually see this working if Kiffin can actually STFU and not say anything.

I'm not totally sure anyone besides KP understands the tremendous power that Nick Saban wields in the state, region and country. What he says, goes and he gives zero shits what you think about anything.

There was word around Gatorland that Muschamp wanted to hire him but wasn't allowed. Personally I am glad we didn't, but I really don't like him in Saban's stable either. He will probably do well at Bama.

But they might want to leave him home when they go to Knoxville. :)

    Jeff,

Oh ya know, strikes and gutters. Keeping most the balls in the lane and on pin these days. Can't complain. How're you and are you still in the travel/entertainment business?

    Tom,

I've been telling JOCO for years that he needs to get out here and take in an SEC football game as a neutral bystander. I think we may have him biting on a line here.
