    Terry,
Haha, if you get the 2009 NC, does that mean Brown gets his job back?

Nope but he gets a gold watch and party instead of an office in the corner of the basement! :)

Mike Munchak to interview with Penn State after getting the ax in Tenn.

He's a risk, has never coached in college, has no ties to the college game. Would have to really build an excellent staff from the outset. That is one thing that Charlie missed on, his initial staff was not what it could have been. But one thing he has is loyalty. If he takes the job I'd bet that he would stay a long time if he's successful and not jump back to the Pro's at the first chance.

I really thought Al Golden would crawl to Happy Valley to get that job.

Nobody's sources are as reliable as the sources in Texas. Saban is the new coach at Texas after all and Terry's sources called that first

The Lions has been named the best job open and Ken Whisenhunt the San Diego OCoord the guy to fill it. Matt Millen has not been contacted.

Millen's analysis is so bad and so far out of the normal range, that I don't even know what he's talking about. Kind of like the way he ran the Lions...

He made that observation Corey in Nov. 2012 after watching Manziel's heroics in the great win over Alabama.

Of course months later.... in May when winning is no longer a criteria for playing NFL Qb he had this to say:

" In fact, I believe the Heisman Trophy winner currently projects more like a marginal pro, based on his unimpressive physical dimensions and unrefined game as a pocket passer.

Now, I know that the legions of Johnny Manziel fans will take exception to my assessment, but my opinion is based on the fact that elite NFL quarterback prospects possess three or four blue-chip traits (from a list that includes size, athleticism, arm talent, leadership skills, clutch factor, intelligence and pocket-passing skills) that validate their status as potential franchise players. I've studied the Texas A&M star's 2012 game tape, and I simply don't believe that he has enough of those qualities at this time to merit serious consideration as an elite quarterback prospect."

So basically..... the pro game is all about impressing the coaches and scouts in May than it is about the getting W in November.

Football fans in Michigan are outraged that anyone would give Millen a mic. He's a complete tool who bluffed his way into a pro GM job and proved over and over again he knew nothing about talent. To have him as some sort of commentator on games is a complete joke and an insult to football fans here.

    Gipper....

Never in our Skybox lifetime have we agreed more on any subject.

Millen was a complete buffoon and he drove the Lions into the ground and basically kept them there.

Hiring him to coach the Lions would be akin to appointing Kwame Kilpatrick as Michigan Governor.

Thanks, Tom, for running the contest. It kept me engaged in the bowl games. This may be the first time I finished in the top ten.

Well I picked the fewest winners and still didn't finish in last place. Thank you Kes, Tim, George, AJ and Neil!

You bet, T. I would like to point out that I was in first place for about 30 minutes after the UNT game ended. Then, missing the last 9 out of 10 games sealed my fate.
