Irsay - Manning

    Now I brought this up in the off season.... and after watching Manning this year I have been muted on the subject because of his superlative play but the subject of Peyton Manning not coming through in the most high profile games has been brought up this week by the Colts owner Robert Irsay.

    I want to make the statement that I don't care anymore about that.... from what I have seen of Manning this year and last the dude is one of a kind....an unbelievable unequivocal talent at playing the NFL Qb position like no one I have seen.

    I hope he takes Denver to the NFL title this year and puts all of this questioning to rest.

    Irsay is an idiot. A wealthy idiot, for sure, but still an idiot. The locals wish he would keep his mouth shut. His comments about Manning were stupid and inappropriate, aside from being downright disrespectful. He is an embarrassment to an otherwise classy franchise.

    Why do the Colts have Luck? Because Peyton was injured in 2011 and after making the playoffs for 9 straight years the Colts without Manning were the biggest turd in the NFL (except for their owner.) Their 2-14 record showed how bad they were without him.Perhaps if that team were able to win 5 games without him they would have been able to win more Super Bowls with him. Manning was the purfume that hid the stink that was the unmanning Colts.
