Dodger Dog's are very expensive...200M payroll vs the Cards 120M. Cards have one of Scott88's boys having a fine Rookie year...Michael Wacha who the Dodgers have never seen before. We don't even get to Wainwright till game 3.
 Like I told you on the phone AJ ..... Bring it on kid... we are ready for ya... your "other father" really liked the phone call.... me not so much you interrupted packing. (jk) GO BLUE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cards up 2-0 with Wainwright up next for the Cards...looking good. Games couldn't have been any closer though and that makes the Dodgers over due for something good to happen to them.
Cards are like Fort Knox when it comes to their young talent. Mujica, starts to falter...no problem, plug in Rosenthal. Lose two starting pitchers with injuries.. no sweat, let me introduce you to Mr. Miller and Mr. Wacha. If Beltran is gone next year, they will plug in Tavarez who will tear it up. Smart people are running that franchise.
I only saw the end of this game. The Cards won with 2 hits?!? Man, this is a pitcher's series. The Dodger bats have gone silent. They'll either break out, or go home.
You got that right, Dodgers win 2-0 last night. I wonder what the record is for fewest runs scored by both teams in a NLCS?
On the same play I saw evidence of Puig's poor judgment and his incredible athleticism. He hit what he thought was an opposite field HR, tossed his bat, and admired his work as he left the box. When he realized it was short of the fence, he took off and made it to 3rd base in a hurry. He has incredible wheels.
