Much has been written about this being one game where the Buckeyes might end up on the losing end.

A night game on the road in Evanston and the Wildcats will have an extra week with a bye last week to prepare. They should be hyped up and ESPN on hand for Game Day.

Our secondary showed some weaknesses in the Wisconsin game. I think we can moved the ball on the ground this Saturday, something we did not do in the second half against the Badgers.

Christian Bryant one of our captains and a senior, experienced a broken ankle on the next to last play in the Wisconsin game. He is out for the season and this will be a real challenge for us. He was one of our best vocal leaders as well.

If we can get by this week with a win, I think we will have an excellent chance to run the table for the regular season.

I know Northwestern is undefeated and that Pat Fitzgerald is considered an excellent coach. But I wouldn't be surprised if there is a large contingent of Buckeye fans in the stands. I don't think of Northwestern in the same vein as a trip to Madison or Iowa City or Ann Arbor in terms of places that are tough on visitors.

But obviously the Buckeyes can't overlook the Wildcats. But I expect that you will handle them and win by 3 TD's. Braxton Miller will just be too much for them.

This game turned out to be quite an exciting match and closer than the final score would indicate.

Not one of Braxton Miller's best games, but Carlos Hyde was the icing on the cake with his rushing heroics 168 yds, a personal record.

Northwestern is a very gifted and well coached team. There were times this evening that I thought we going down to defeat.

Mark their tailback was magnificent for such a small back, but he was elusive and very difficult to bring down.

Didn't see it of course, watching ASU/ND game. But sounds like it was an exciting game and a tough win for the Buckeyes. Congats!

    that spot was brutal...

If there's anything that's worse than Mooseturd calling a Northwestern game, it's Herbie calling a Buckeye game. Jesus, I would almost rather watch CBS..and I detest Verne and Gary.

Hyde was just unstoppable and that's the key to the game. That kid is a monster. I like how Ohio State seems to have different heroes each week. That's championship stuff.
