Just stopped in my office selling a promotional package for the NJ Nets. He works for a marketing company. Nice young man. I didn't have time to talk to him but told him to come back tomorrow.
He's out of football? I didn't know that, he was drafted by Buffalo, and I think he had some injury problems. It's a good lesson that no matter how hot you were in High School, you may actually have to earn a living someday so pay attention to academics and get your degree. I remember he was very disappointed when Davie told him he wasn't a Div 1 running back. Even to a amateur like me it was clear that his running style was not going to allow him to dominate in college like he did in high school and that he should move to safety which is what he did...not happily though. But he played well enough to get drafted, which he never would have as a RB. He did graduate from ND. Terry
Hi Terry, Tony looks fit and trim and looks like he can still play. These young fellas look so skinny compared to a 240 lb porker like me. I was sorry I couldn't talk with him as I was in the middle of a nasty divorce between clients. He was well spoken and very presentable.
I remember Driver real well. I really thought he would do well as a RB at ND but it never came to fruition...shows what I know. Glad he seems to be doing O.K.
