This article from ESPN is right on the money: http://espn.go.com/blog/sec/post/_/id/69563/expect-plenty-of-excitement-from-the-sec-east The SEC East title race looks to be quite a shoot-out this year.
We don't know anything about this division right now. You can talk all you want about Florida, South Carolina and Georgia but right now Tennessee has looked better than all of you. We'll see how this all shakes out. Right now, the conference looks like it's down to the winner of the West again.
I guess you would have to be a big believer in WKU to hold that Tenn has looked better than the other three. I think Oregon has impressed me more than any other team other than maybe Michigan so if Tenn goes out and even stays close then I will start throwing the Vols in the mix as well. That's not to say they can't beat the Gators in two weeks.... or at least make our offense look like the broken down slow train that it is..... but playing the Ducks close will have me believing beforehand.
why are you 'hesitant' to throw the Vols in the mix? They've looked good. WKU destroyed Kentucky. That game was not as close as it seems (yes, I am admitting to watching it). You want to see if the Vols can even compete with Oregon until you'll consider them for anything? Sorry, I haven't seen anything out of the Gators that would tell me they could compete with Oregon. According to the media, we know Clemson is good because they beat Georgia, who we know is good because they beat South Carolina, who we know is good because... they....beat........ North Carolina?!?!? Just wait, grasshopper.
Hey you never acknowledge when I say the Gators have problems...i.e. broken down train etc. on offense. I will say that UF has the best defense in the SEC East... and one of the top 2 or 3 in the whole conference. However.... offensively we have serious game losing issues. RE: Oregon-UT my son and I agree that if the Vols stay within 2 Tds of the Ducks we will be worried about the Vols on the 21st.
