Purchased two UF-Tenn football tickets yesterday from the Gator ticket office at face value and there are more available.

In past years this couldn't have been possible but with UT dropping a notch or two in recent seasons and also with season ticket pricing being what it is.... that is the reality these days.

Actually I could have purchased UF-FSU tickets as well but they only had $300 seats left for that one.

Let's not forget the terrible economy. Sports tickets are easy to get anywhere.

Arizona State vs Notre Dame has some higher face value tickets.

Holy Cow is right Sid.... and yet they will sell that game out eventually.

George is right in that the economy definitely plays a part in lower ticket demand..... that coupled with the extra contribution per seat requirement that most high profile sports programs demand these days.

For the record, there is no sporting event that I would pay $300.00 to see. Absolutely none,

Me neither George.... would take the fun out completely.

I am prepared though to pay 150.00 for Fla-Ga tickets this year.

Haven't been to that one in 15 years so it's about time.

I am selling my FSU game tickets to finance that Dawgs-Gators tilt.

Same here. Quick story. During the years (1991-1994) when my son was on ND's team, I attended every single game except one, the 1993 ND-FSU game. We were on campus. A friend and I walked around the stadium to see if we could buy tickets for a reasonable price. It was eerily silent. The lowest offer we had was for $250 in the end zone.....in 1993! We had no illusions. It was the game of the decade at the time. We went back to my son's dorm and watched it on the big screen TV in the basement.

It was great to be there after the game. Unfortunately, the next week, BC dashed our NC dreams. I was at that game also.

I'm much older now, and I have much better seats.......in front of the big screen TV in my living room. I'll be going to games in the future - none this season - but not as many in the past.

Hey George I sure do like large screen TV's and cold beer...

Dave what does it cost for parking to attend UF games, we need to add that to the equation.....

There are residential streets across from the stadium Ralph where students live and they park cars on every square inch of their yards. ( except for a little tailgating space )

Forty bucks will get you a spot and you usually have bathroom privileges.... can watch other games on their TV and generally just join the party.

    It's a blast.
