Coincidentally, I watched a PBS documentary last night on James Meredith's historic effort to enroll at Ole Miss. I am still dumbfounded that those attitudes existed during my lifetime. Makes me feel old. Wait! I am old!
:idea: I used to work with a guy for 20 years who spent his entire time in the army guarding black college students at Ole Miss. That was his job... He was not National Guard. He was in the 82nd Airborne...
