Rory 79 today, take that Nick Faldo and mind your own business!! :)

Zach Johnson in the clubhouse as the leader, Lefty in the top 10...Tiger on the course, even after 4...hit a tree on the 1st hole and had to take a drop.

    Shiv giving it back now...

Faldo tied Rory's 79...Of course he doesn't play competitive golf any more so 79 is not bad for him.

It seems now in majors that Tiger is a Weekend Wilter. For the last couple of years he's been in the hunt after the cut but then fades usually on Sat. For those that want to watch his second round, he tees off at 4:45 EDT.

Very entertaining morning of golf. So many players making a move only to fall back. What a run by Poulter. Adam Scott was right there. Westwood was hanging on but went to the well too many times. Stenson looked like he wass going to be there at the end on the front. Only Tiger seemed to be slowly sinking right from the first hole.
Mickelson finished like a champion. That up and down on 16 was clutch and his second shot from 300 yds. out on 17 was awesome. Now the only major he hasn't won in the US Open where he's been second SIX TIMES!

Tiger has lost his passion for the game. And he has developed rabbit ears; everything distracts him.

He is still the best but the magic is gone.

Really happy for Phil, his game really doesn't seem fitted for the Open...the discipline to resist 'going' for it with the big swing. But he did it, and he made some classic Phil Shots.
