Texas vs Oklahoma. Mr. Can't Coach vs Mr. Best Coach in Football. Mr. Nice Guy vs Mr. Arrogant Texas should open as a solid favorite. OU is not the juggernaut they were when Jason White was at the controls. Texas defense should be able to control Adrian Peterson, not stop him completely but keep him from beating us single handedly. Oklahoma defense which was supposed to be their strenght this year, hasn't really looked great...they're ok and maybe they can put together a great game against Texas but maybe not. If they don't play their best game of the year I think Texas will win handily. The only thing I fear about this game is Greg Davis going into a shell and playing not to lose. Terry
LOL Tom... That came from our trip to Texas where I found you could make instant friends (and maybe pickup chicks...I'm too old to try) by saying "Oklahoma Sucks!"
I must point out that at several of the bars we stopped at that Stu bonded with a lot of UT fans....all of them guys. Gerry, Josh and I kept the women away from him!
oooohhhh my gosh.....son of a @#!$&.......that carpet does look familiar!!!!!! but OU STILL SUCKS!!!!!!!!
Well Mack "Can't Coach" Brown, did a pretty good job against Bob "Genius" Stoops yesterday. With a Freshman QB to boot!!! And noboby will mistake Colt McCoy for Vincent Young!! But Vince Young didn't beat OU as a RS Freshman! Colt McCoy did exactly what he had to do, make some throws and hand the ball off, don't turn it over. OU's Paul McDonald looked like he had the stronger arm, and looked pretty darn good in the first half. But in the 2nd half with the game on the line he made mistakes and Colt didn't. And I'll tell you something else, Mack is getting out a can of whoopass for Bob Stoops as he's going to kick his ass next year as well, and the year after that!! Kirk Bohls from the Statesman prasing Adrian Peterson, yeah, yeah, he looks strong and he looks fast, yada yada yada. But when the game was on the line he couldn't lead his team to a victory. He had a good game, not a great game. He might be the best RB in america and all that but he wasn't a difference maker yesterday. Longhorn defense kept him from doing that. Oh and did you see those plays that Tarrell Brown was making yesterday, well those are the plays we were missing vs Ohio State. Terry Oh and USC, they better hope they don't get a rematch with Texas we'll kick their spoiled asses again!!
Will this become as famous as that Buckeye (now deceased) crying after the MSU loss in 1998? Cryin' OU kid Terry
Congratulations to Texas, they seem to have taken over as the best in the Big 12, not just last year. Mr Arrogant?
