Will Ohio State unseat the SEC this year after a 7 year run for the conference as BCS National Champion? Dennis Dodd of CBS Sportsline thinks so: http://www.cbssports.com/collegefootball/story/22217778/postspring-top-25-sec-rule-coming-to-end-at-hands-of-ohio-state I agree in his notion that the Buckeyes should mow down their very manageable schedule with relative ease. But I remember Penn State in years way back in the 80s and early 90s when the always NC favorite Nits didn't really play anyone and yet some of their games vs. average teams were nailbiters anyway. It's enough to give Urban Meyer indigestion! 8)
As you know ND is my #1 and the Buckeyes are my #1-A but I don't see OSU beating the Irish last year. You can rank them #1 if it makes for good press but Bama is the team to beat.
I would have liked to play the Bucks last year... Maybe we''ll get them this year. 8) The beauty of a new year... we've all got a shot at the crystal!
Dave, I did not mean to slight you by not answering to the topic. Should be a great year for the Buckeyes, at least on paper. Our schedule is in our favor for the coming season. Big Ten really not much improved over all in my opinion.
That's cool Don. Actually a game with those two Qbs would be a classic. If UF can't make Pasadena ( long shot....but hey came close last year )....then I vote for A&M vs. OSU for the NC. But what if the Aggies pulled it off? Yet another SEC team winning the National Title to agitate everyone?
